Katsina State Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema on Sunday declared that governing the state is not a tea party, even as he adviced the governor elect, Ex Speaker Masari to run an open administration.
Addressing the press, Shema congratulated Masari on his emergence as the governor-elect and enjoined Masari to carry everybody along.
“As for politics, let me tell you I have just started politics and Insha Allah we will continue to do all we can for the development of Katsina and the nation,” he added.
The governor, however, expressed appreciation to the good people of the state for supporting his administration in the last eight years.
