Udenwa (Orlu) was Governor for 8 years and Kema Chikwe, Prof Fabian Osuji and Dr Stella Obaji all from Owerri zone had the Ministerial slot for Imo State.
Ohakim (Okigwe) was Governor for 4 years, Chief Achike Udenwa, Chuka Odom and Captain Iheanacho of Orlu and Owerri zones had the ministerial slot for Imo State.
Professor Viola Onwuliri from Owerri zone held the ministerial slot for Imo between 2011-2015, courtesy of Imo PDP and President Goodluck Jonathan.
Once APC was in power at both state and federal level between 2015-2018, and Governor Rochas Okorocha had the chance to nominate a minister for the first time...... He did not pick T. O. E Theodore Okwu Ejike Ekechi, Uche Onyeagocha was a no no. Jerry Chukwueke No. Humphrey Anumudu, No. Rt Hon Ben Uwajimogu then not in Senate, No. Sir Jude Ejiogu, No. He picked from Orlu zone. From his own family. For the first time since our democracy the Governor came from Orlu zone, the same zone got the Imo Ministerial slot. To argue against zonning means no one from Okigwe and Owerri zone was competent to also hold office of minister. None was worth his nomination and forwarding to Mr President to be appointed Minister.
Now he needs same men he ignored to do his family and zone another favour. This time, not even on a Rescue Mission. The campaign treats the names Okigwe and Owerri zones as nonexistent, yet they are needed for the new project.
You see we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against.
This debate is beyond youth youth and Uche Nwosu. It is about greed. Its about selfishness. It is about nepotism. It is about wickedness. Its about somebody determining he will be the only light that must shine in his entire generation.
Only critical thinkers know the issues at stake.
