IMO Leadership Crisis: Uzodinma to Okorocha “You Are My Younger Brother to me, I Can’t Join Issues With You”

The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma after much hype over his promise to unveil those behind the security crises in the state today, January 4, 2022, has chickened out.

Meanwhile, his Chief Press Secretary had already foretold the public those allegedly sponsoring the said insecurity and criminality in the state, mentioning chiefly former Governor of the State, Chief Rochas Okorocha, and his son-in-law, Chief Uche Nwosu.

Uzodimma had variously accused the opposition of being the masterminds of the endless security challenges in the state.

According to the statement by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Oguwuike Nwachuku, some of the suspects already in the police custody had made confessional statements, pointing fingers at Okorocha and son-in-law, Nwosu.

While the state was already put in tensed mode only to for the Governor to decline to mention names.

He however advanced reasons for avoiding naming anybody since the issue had already been politicized.

Uzodimma also said he would allow the security agencies to investigate those in question and then bring them to book.

The question is, should Imo government lick back its vomit or allow Imo people the freedom of choosing whatever pricks their minds.
